We accept all video file types, at any resolution and any file size.

After you complete this order form, you will be given secure access to our Alive Cloud upload hub.

You can upload your files from anywhere in the world.

Once your upscale and restoration is complete, we will email you.

You will then be able to download your finished files from the same secure Alive Cloud area.

How Pricing Works

We charge based on:

• We charge £2 per minute based on the total running time of your footage, with a minimum order charge of £30.
• A small additional charge per individual clip

How to Calculate Your Running Time

To check how many hours of footage you have:

1. Open VLC Media Player
2. Drag all your video files into a playlist
3. VLC will show the total running time of the full collection

Choose Your Output Resolution

If your original video file is very low resolution (for example 320 × 240 or lower), we recommend choosing HD Upscale & Restoration.

If your video file is already higher than this, you may choose 4K Upscale & Restoration if you would like additional enhancement.

You can upscale to 4K from almost any resolution. However, this is not always necessary and in some cases HD will give the most natural result.

If your file is already HD and you would prefer it to remain in the same resolution, that is absolutely fine.

We can restore your video without changing its original resolution.

What You Receive Back

If you send us 10 video files, you will receive 10 restored video files back.

Each file will keep its original name, with the word “restored” added to the end.

Which file format is right for you?

For most users, MPEG-4 is the ideal choice. It is widely compatible with nearly all devices, including TVs, smartphones, tablets, and platforms like YouTube, making it a versatile and convenient option.

For video editors or professionals, we recommend ProRes. This high-quality master format captures additional details, perfect for editing and fine-tuning before exporting to a more viewer-friendly format like MPEG-4.

Download & Share Your Restored Videos

When your upscale and restoration is complete, we will send you an email to let you know.

You will be able to download the full-quality restored videos directly to your computer.

Your restored videos will also be available in your secure Alive Cloud account for 14 days. During this time, you can stream and share them with family, friends or colleagues.

If you would like to keep your videos hosted online after the 14-day period, you can subscribe to Alive Cloud hosting for £24 per year, which includes up to 10 hours of video.

48 Hour Express

If you need your video quickly, our 48 Hour Express is available. We aim for a 48 hour turnaround from receipt. This service includes a 30% surcharge, as we dedicate staff to work nights and weekends to ensure the fastest possible delivery.

Give Your Video Collection a Title

Please choose a title for your video collection.

This helps you keep track of the jobs you send to us.

Every order whether it includes one video or multiple files is given a job title.

You can edit or change this title at any time inside your Alive Cloud account.
